I know we're facing troubled economic times.

I know we're facing troubled economic times. Every day, we're bombarded with messages of doom and gloom. But take heart! God's Word, says,

...for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life. And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. (Galatians 6:7-9, NKJV)

We are not of the world, so we shouldn't let the crises of this world determine our tomorrows! Remember that we serve a risen Savior, and we will spend OUR tomorrows with God in His heavenly Kingdom!

Before you were even born, God knew you (Jeremiah 1:5) and formed a plan for your life. God's plan is not affected by what happens in the world! God's plan for you is perfect and unchanging--He does not adjust it to meet the fluctuations of the stock market or the whims of the banks!

In these troubled times God calls us to stand on the solid rock of His Word and take shelter in His promises. In Galatians 6:7-9, God promises us that "in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart." Have faith, God is saying; keep believing.

The seeds we sow in faith today will become the harvest of blessings tomorrow--in due season. Our seeds will bear fruit - not instantly, but at God's appointed time. Meanwhile, we should honor God's laws of seedtime and harvest, of sowing and reaping, for "he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life."

Yours in Christ Jesus,
